Culinary Tour to Georgia
Georgian cuisine offers the wondrous variety of dishes with generous amount of vegetable herbs and spices. Each region of Georgia such as Mingrelia, Kakheti and Imereti has its own culinary traditions. Vegetarian dishes are widely appreciated as well as meat dishes.

DAY 1: TBILISI
On arriving to Tbilisi international airport you'll be met by English speaking guide and accompanied during your transfer to your hotel. After you settle in at the hotel room your guide will give you detailed information about your tour.

DAY 2: TBILISI
You'll go Ikar Culinary School after having breakfast in the hotel. There we're meeting chefs and attend introductory course of Georgian cuisine. You'll learn how to cook different Georgian dishes such as khachapuri, eggplant with nuts and satsivi. In the meantime you'll try wines introduced by trained sommelier.
After introductory course in Ikar Culinary School you'll go on an excursion around Tbilisi and enjoy architectural and cultural sights of Old Tbilisi, Narikala fortress and sulphur baths in Abanotubani district. Alexander Pushkin poetized this place during his trip to Georgia. Visit to sulphur baths (for additional 25 $ per person).

DAY 3: MTSKHETA
Breakfast in your hotel. Today we're going to Mtskheta. Here we'll see traditional Georgian winehouse, visit hospitable Georgian family, and try more Georgian wines and Chacha. We'll enjoy delicious national lunch. Then we'll set off on an excursion around ancient Georgian capital Mtskheta. It's deemed to be a museum town and is listed as a UNESCO Heritage Site. Then we'll climb to Jvari monastery, which is one of the most unique Georgian architectural monuments and offers a breathtaking view.

DAY 4: KAKHETI, SIGNAGI, TELAVI
After having breakfast in the hotel we are setting for Kakheti in eastern Georgia. On our way there, we'll visit monastic complex at Bodbe. It's a Georgian Orthodox nunnery of Bodbe eparchy, situated in two kilometers from the town of Sighnaghi, Kakheti. After this, we'll visit the "City of Love" — the old town of Signagi, located on one of the mountains in Alazani valley.

Then we'll head towards Napareuli village, where legendary Kindzmarauli wine is produced. After having lunch at a restaurant with a marvelous view on Alazani valley, we'll arrive to Lopota lake. Here you'll take some rest at one with beautiful nature.

The most delicious Georgian dishes such as Khashlama (boiled beef), Mtsvadi (pork shashlik), Chakapuli (veal or lamb with Tkemali sauce) will be served for dinner in the evening. We'll try wine stored in kvevri — large earthenware vessels, and will watch distillation and bottling of chacha — Georgian vodka.

DAY 5: TSINANDALI
Today after breakfast we'll go to Tsinandali village — a famous winemaking place. Then we'll visit Alexander Chavchavadze's museum and historical residence, one of the most remarkable places of Georgian culture.

Afterwards we'll visit a winery, which was established in 1886 and still holds about 16,000 bottles of wine, produced in XIX-XX centuries. Here we'll degust 4 wine types.

Later we'll find ourselves on a miniature cheese factory in Akhmeta municipality and will find out how the most delicious Kakheti cheese is produced.

DAY 6: TBILISI
Breakfast in your hotel. After this you'll have free time to walk along the streets of Old Tbilisi on your own.

Modern Tbilisi is a bright and hospitable city, which lay in a valley surrounded by beautiful mountains. It's a multiconfessional city, where Georgian Orthodox, Armenian Apostolic and Roman Catholic churches, as well as a synagogue and a mosque are situated in a 5 minutes walk from each other. Here you'll see Holy Trinity Cathedral — the largest Orthodox cathedral in Georgia and in all the Caucasus. Don't miss an opportunity to climb on top of the mountain to Narikala fortress. It is an ancient fortress. Wonderful view on Tbilisi opens from its foot.

In the evening at about 7PM you'll have dinner in one of the best Tbilisi restaurants with national cuisine and enjoy the variety of delicious Georgian dishes.

DAY 7: MTIULETI, GUDAURI
After having breakfast in the hotel we are going on an excursion to Mtiuleti-Khevi. This is a historical province in northeast Georgia on the southern slope of the Greater Caucasus. Here we offer visiting a 17-th century Anauri complex and Gudauri, famous ski resort, located at an elevation of 7200 ft. above sea level. Then we'll go to Kazbegi from here and will visit famous Gergeti Trinity Monastery, situated at an elevation of 7120 ft above sea level. After this we return to Tbilisi.

DAY 8: RETURNING HOME
Transfer to the airport to fly home after breakfast in your hotel.
