DAY 1: TBILISI
Arrival in Tbilisi
DAY 2: Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Uplistsikhe – Gori – Bakuriani
Today we visit Mtskheta. Continue to Uplistsikhe cave town (6th century BC) lying on the Great silk Road route. In Gori we'll have a photo stop at house-museum of stalin. Transfer to ski resort Bakuriani for an overnight. Total length 210 km, driving time 4 hrs. Off road: 0 km.
DAY 3: Bakuriani – Lake Tabatskuri – Vardzia – Akhaltsikhe
Along the serpentine of Tskhratskaro Pass we drive on slopes of the Lesser Caucasus and enjoy the distant views of the towering Great Caucasus Mountains. Our drive runs across Mountain Lake of Tabatskuri nestled in depth of surrounding hills. We stop at Khertvisi fortress (10th c) and then continue to the magnificent cave town – Vardzia (12th c). After the tour we arrive in Akhaltsikhe. Total length 170 km, driving time 5.5 hrs. Off road: 60 km, 3 hrs.
DAY 4: Akhaltsikhe – Zekari Pass – Kutaisi
We drive over Zekari Pass (2200m) today. First we pass a densely forested area of Abastumani with crystal clear air and thend then take an uphill drive to reach the top of the pass. On our way we'll see the sheep shelters as the sheep-men bring their sheep this high up to benign grasslands. In sairme we'll stop to taste famous mineral waters. Arrive in Kutaisi for an overnight.

DAY 5: Kutaisi – Zugdidi – Mestia
In the morning visit a royal palace of Dadiani family (local dukes, 19th c). Most exciting part of our tour is still to come! We take a tour to Upper svaneti province – UNEsCO World heritage site. We'll have a few photo stops and arrive in Mestia. The real gem is history museum that we shouldn't miss. Overnight in Mestia.

DAY 6: Mestia – Mt. Zuruldi – Ushguli
In the morning we take a cable car to Mt. Zuruldi (2400m) from there we can get a perfect view of snow covered Mt. Tetnuldi (4852m) and in front of us we enjoy the impressive panorama of the Greater Caucasus. Continue to the remote village of Ushguli (located on 2200m) for truly unforgettable experience. We'll enjoy the magnificent view to Mt. shkhara – the highest of Georgia, 5068m. Overnight in Ushguli.

DAY 7: Ushguli – Lentekhi – Kutaisi
Today we take an extremely beautiful drive over Zagaro Pass (2623m) to Lower svaneti and its tiny town – Lentekhi. Our route continues to Kutaisi, where we'll have time to rest after a long drive today. Overnight in Kutaisi.

DAY 8: Kutaisi – Gudauri
Travel back to east Georgia and take a turn to drive north to the Great Caucasus along Georgian Military highway. En route we visit the Ananuri Complex. Overnight in Gudauri ski resort (2200m).

DAY 9: Gudauri – Truso Gorge – Kazbegi – Juta – Gudauri
Drive to the spectacular Truso gorge and then to Kazbegi through the scenic landscapes. here we'll enjoy the magnificent view to Mt. Kazbegi – 5047m. Our 4WD tour continues to 14th century Gergeti Church (2170 m). Return to Kazbegi and continue to sno valley and remote Juta village. Drive back to Gudauri.

DAY 10: Gudauri – Tbilisi – Departure
Drive back to the capital and enjoy the walking city tour. Transfer to the airport. Departure.
